The ENGINEERING pathway is for students who love to investigate new discoveries, think creatively, design innovative solutions, and solve real-world problems. Like a true engineer, you will use the design cycle to tackle challenges and bring your own inventions to life. Engineering is a CTE (Career Technical Education) certified pathway, ensuring students have the resources and preparation for college and future careers in Engineering.
The BIOTECHNOLOGY Pathway is for students eager to make a real impact in an industry that is always advancing. It’s not just about learning, but leading, in a field critical to our society and future. In this program, you will learn the fundamentals of biotech, including lab equipment use with proper technique, lab safety and experimental design.
EARN WHILE YOU LEARN: Some courses are articulated with Solano Community College, allowing students to earn college credits while still in high school.
The ART IN SCIENCE (STEAM) Pathway is the perfect program for students who want to combine creative expression with scientific discovery. This pathway offers a unique opportunity to explore the powerful connections between art and science. You'll learn how scientific principles inspire art, and how art can communicate complex science concepts. From creating scientific illustrations to building models, you'll experience both fields through creative projects.

The STEM Marin Fund is a non-profit volunteer organization established to provide financial support to the STEM Program at San Marin, enhancing opportunities in areas like Art in Science, Biotechnology programs, and Engineering pathways.
Our dedicated staff has developed a unique curriculum that requires over $50,000 each year to sustain. This funding enables hands-on projects, state-of-the-art lab work, and field trips, all centered around project-based learning, offering experiences far beyond what is typically available in public schools.
If you would like to get involved with the STEM Marin Fund, please reach out to Board President Christy Brown Meyer at christine@meyertechgroup.com.
Applications for the STEM Marin Program open on November 1st and will close in early January. Contact us with any questions.
