Why Art in Science?

The Art in Science (STEAM) Pathway is the perfect program for students who want to combine creative expression with scientific discovery. This pathway offers a unique opportunity to explore the powerful connections between art and science. You'll learn how scientific principles inspire art – and how art can communicate complex science concepts. From creating scientific illustrations to building models, you'll experience both fields through creative projects.

How Will You Learn?

Interactive : Hands-on, project-driven, draw, paint, sculpt, design

Integrated: the science and art units are studied harmoniously

Innovative: Explore how the world of art and science overlap

Dual Approach: Using creative & analytical skills to demonstrate proficiency and understanding

How many students are offered placement?

The number of applications we receive varies each year. The number of students we offer placement to will depend on staffing demands. For the 2025-26 application year, we expect to offer placement to 30 students.
